Our Classes

From Scratch to Python

  • Our classes will operate in group sessions over a 6-8 week period.

  • The younger students (8-12) , or the ones with little to no coding experience, will be started off with Scratch, MIT's block based editor, while the advanced/older ones (12-16), will be taught Python.

  • Despite the overall class being taught as a group, students will break into individual groups of 2-3 and will recieve individualized attention, with teachers explaining every intricacy of the code to them.

  • Students learning Scratch will learn the basics of coding, the fundamentals, and will be tasked with creating their own program at the end of the six week course.

  • Students learning Python will be exposed to all the commands and syntax, and will be taught how to mesh these procedures into fully functioning codes. Rather than only having one final project, they will be exhibiting their skills through a series of projects, alongside a code intensive final project.

  • Students and Parents will be able to contact the teachers if in need of help, or if there are any questions, and regular updates will be provided to the parents to allow them to keep track of their children.
